In the rich tradition of the Catholic Church we welcome you to Holy Cross Cemetery. Our Catholic Cemetery grounds, Mausoleums, and niche garden are nestled in the picturesque Somerset Hills, New Jersey.

We recognize the difficulties many families encounter when deciding on the final resting place for their loved ones. We believe with prayerful consideration you will discover what you are looking for in a Catholic Cemetery at Holy Cross.

Our Services

Holy Cross Cemetery, a Ministry of Our Lady or Perpetual Help Parish is the only Catholic Cemetery in the Somerset Hills that supports the needs of the area’s Catholic Community.

This facility conforms in all relevant matters to the applicable laws of the State of New Jersey and to Code of Canon Law of the Roman Catholic Church, as well as to any regulations issued by the Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. It is operated as a ministry of the parish primarily for Catholic residents of the Somerset Hills region of New Jersey and their families. The entire cemetery complex has been solemnly consecrated according to the Rites of the Roman Catholic Church.

Mausoleums

The Cemetery offers two Mausoleums. Our Lady Mausoleum was completed in 2005 and offers both interior and exterior crypt and niche spaces.

Our recently completed Sacred Heart Mausoleum offers up to 900 crypts and 580 glass fronted or marble niches.

Niche Gardens

Nestled in a serene setting of the Holy Cross Cemetery, our niche garden offers the ideal sacred space for your loved ones.

Cremated remains are placed in a chosen section of the garden where beloved family and friends are always welcome to visit.

In-Ground Burials

If an in-ground burial is what you prefer, our cemetery grounds are impeccable and always manicured with great detail and care.

Rules & Regulations

Family/Private Mausoleum Space

Holy Cross Cemetery has land space in various sections of the Cemetery devoted for custom Family Mausoleums. A family mausoleum offers a private

resting place for you and your loved ones. This final resting place allows the family to be together and allows living members a place to visit, reflect, pray and cherish memories.
